New high capacity Rotoform® HS2000 pastillation system debuts at Texas fair

The launch of Sandvik's new Rotoform® HS2000 pastillation system at this year's Sulphur conference in Houston, Texas, sees a 33% increase in capacity compared with the standard high speed model. Trials have proved successful and orders for the system have already been received from customers in Europe and Asia.

Continuous production of thermoplastic composite via a multi-stage double belt press

Multi-stage processing, whereby the material travels through a series of in-line process phases – heating, curing and cooling under pressure – ensures high productivity and allows adjustment of process profiles for different products. The use of steel belts enables high pressures to be generated in the forming zone. The ability to combine heating and cooling in the same press brings major economic benefits to the production of thermoplastic materials.
