Design possibilities of new textures
Sandvik Surface Solutions, manufacturer of press plates and endless press belts for the production of smooth and textured laminates, is showcasing a number of innovations that open up new opportunities for furniture and interior designers.
These include everything from natural wood and stone textures to smooth, graphic and allover surfaces for flooring, furniture, work surfaces, kitchen units and more.
Examples of textures:
- `Words´- this new surface texture can be used to apply logos, fitting instructions and other messages to the reverse side of flooring.
- `Nadura™´- this delivers surfaces capable of withstanding loads and stresses significantly higher than traditionally coated flooring or panels
- `Hickory´- a naturally-inspired surface that imparts a robust, rustic appearance while also creating an overall impression of warmth and coziness
